Kayaking down the River Bobr – a gentle, picturesque tributary that flows from the North of the Czech Republic all the way to Southern Poland. The river is perfectly safe for children as there are no challenging rapids, just a calm flow surrounded by incredible wildlife. The Bobr is a real hotspot for bird watchers – you’re bound to see some incredible swooping wings on your journey.
Mountain biking through the Karkonosze Mountains. This is your activity to tailor – little legs might want to take advantage of the cable car and hitch a ride to the top of the mountain. They’ll still feel the exhilaration of the wind in their face as they hurtle back down to town, but there’s a lot less pressure.
Hiking through the mountains. If you’re feeling particularly energetic you can begin in the forest, taking in the sights and sounds of woodland critters as you head towards the summit. You’ll be surrounded by jaw-dropping scenery as you wander along the mountain ridge, which forms the border between Poland and the Czech Republic. The higher you get, the more sprawling your view becomes. If uphill isn’t quite your thing, though, you can ride the cable car to the top of the mountain and enjoy a gentle meander back down – you’ll have the same views, but more time for a coffee and a roam around town afterwards.
Climbing/Abseiling on the granite crags. Testing your strength and agility, you’ll be safely hoisted up, putting great trust in each other as you belay each other back down to solid ground. Instructors will be on hand at all times, and they’ll get you strapped into all of your safety gear before you start scrambling up the precipice.
Ziplining at Trollandia! This high ropes centre is located smack back in the centre of Szklarska Poreba, so you’ll get a nice view of town as you sail through the tree tops. There are four courses (including one for younger children) and all have a continuous belting system, meaning you can switch between obstacles without ever having to unclip your safety equipment. It’s fantastic fun, really allowing you to test your bravery over varying degrees of difficulty.
Exploring Prague. We’ll pick you up from the hotel in the morning and take you to one of Europe’s most enchanting cities, with a skyline that seems straight out of a Disney film and an Old Town so untouched by time that you’ll feel like you’ve travelled back to the 10th Century. With al fresco dining in abundance and reams of street performers, there is so much to see and do. Kids will love watching the astronomical clock strike, while adults will relish a walk across the Charles Bridge.

Each apartment features a small kitchenette, storage for your luggage, a bathroom and a balcony. The living room has a flat screen TV and pull-out sofa, whilst the bedroom features squishy mattresses and black out curtains for a good night’s sleep.

By Air
Wroclaw, Prague and Dresden are each around a 90-minute drive from the resort. From there you can hire a car, but as all transport to and from activities is included in the price, you might find it easier to arrange a taxi. We can help you with this, but as a general guide the price is around €70 per car each way.
By Road
From Calais, it’s a solid shot down the motorway, hopping through and between France, Belgium, The Netherlands, Germany, Czech and onto Poland. The drive takes around 13 hours (with no traffic), so we recommend doing it in two days. Get in touch to ask us for hotel recommendations en route.

Do I need travel insurance?
Yes! And you need to ensure it covers you for adventure holidays, especially in winter.
What forms of payment do you accept?
You can pay directly via the website, or by BACS transfer.
What is the minimum age for children on your activities?
Children aged 8 and older are able to take part in our holidays.
Are all of the activities compulsory?
No way – this is your holiday to enjoy as you please. While activities will follow a schedule, you are welcome to dip in and out.
How long to we get to ourselves in Prague?
You’ll have six hours to explore Prague.
